The aim was to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively mediate conflicts, resolve internal tensions and promote a collaborative working environment.
The challenge
The challenge was to develop a training course that took into account the cultural and legal differences of the Endo-Pacific region and at the same time met the high standards of the UK government with regard to mediation.
In addition to the mediation training, a 40-hour investigator training course took place in parallel.
The two groups were brought together in one module each to develop a deeper understanding of the processes.
The training was conducted on site in Bangkok and led by three international experts.
Result
The customized mediation training was successfully carried out and received positively by the embassy staff.
They gained in-depth knowledge of mediation processes and were able to moderate conflicts professionally and sensitively.
